- Sit on the floor, both legs extended in front. Bend one leg and place across the other, foot resting on floor.
- Place the opposite elbow on the outside of the crossed leg (thigh).
- Twist torso toward bent leg until a moderate stretch is felt. Hold for about 10 seconds.

- Apply pressure to bent leg with opposite arm pushing in and bent leg resisting pushing out..
- Hold for a slow count of 10.

- Relax and push the bent leg farther across the extended leg.
- At the same time, try to rotate the truck toward bent leg..
- Repeat application of pressure and release two or three times.
- Repeat for the other side.
