Quadriceps Stretch
standing quad stretch
  1. Stand facing a wall or other means of support.
  2. Place one hand on wall, bend the knee straight back.
  3. Grasp foot with the opposite hand and pull towards buttocks until a moderate stretch in felt.
    If unable to grasp foot with opposite hand, place the bent leg in a knee level chair.

  1. Apply pressure by trying to straighten knee using hand or chair to prevent any movement for a slow count of 10.
  2. Relax and pull heel closer to buttocks, or grasp (attempt to grasp) foot of bent leg, pulling heel closer to buttocks.
  3. Repeat two or three times.
  4. Repeat for the other leg.
